Himalayan Trout Adventure
A holiday fishing for Snowtrout; a treat for the adventurous angler who enjoys the outdoors as well as challenging sport
10 night/11 day fishing holiday in India
The Kulu Valley is a popular destination for travellers and has been since the days of Empire. The elevation is sufficient to calm the fiery heat of the plains; a godsend before the monsoon breaks in early July.
These days, Manali at the top of the valley is a favourite with backpackers and domestic tourists and so access is relatively well-developed.
There is great fishing to be had at many spots along the valley as Brown Trout were introduced by British sportsmen wanting game more familiar than the various endemic species of snowtrout (actually minnow/carps).
In this holiday fishing, we concentrate on two quieter side valleys - the Tirthan and Sangla Valleys - and offer an overnight trek via the Bachleo Pass to connect the two. You can opt and go with the vehicles if you prefer.
Please note: This fishing holiday starts in Kulu (Airport Code, KUU) and ends in Chandigarh (Airport code, IXC) for maximum flexibility. Through our agents in India we can provide you with all the assistance you need to get from your international portal, including any domestic flights, trains, transfers or accommodation.
If you would like to extend your holiday with other services in India then we can provide a free quotation on request.
